After years of poor judgement, I was 27, flipping burgers at McDonald’s.So I joined the Army as a Behavioral Health Specialist to fix my discipline/mindset.Counseling others was transformational for me, but I enjoyed operations and began managing our 30-person outpatient clinic.After the Army, I was hired as 1 of 5 EPAs supporting an extremely ambitious and brilliant CEO.I loved the chaos, I said 'yes' to everything, and quickly became the Sr. EPA supervising my CEO’s 5 other assistants.I then became involved in nearly every aspect of my CEO’s life and business. And due to turnover, I was thrust into many managerial roles (recruiting, finance, events, social media, etc).When ChatGPT-3.5 was released, I became obsessed with AI and data.So, I moved to SF for a largely unsuccessful stint in entrepreneurship. And where I concluded what I enjoyed and was best at was supporting a disruptive CEO.So I took a Chief of Staff position at a rapidly growing TV network startup building the Netflix of business TV and personal development, which I love.Yet, I believe that due to AI, EPAs are the most under-leveraged position and exciting opportunity for me, and I wouldn't be able to resist the opportunity to innovate the role.
